Winnipeg-based author Clarke Wayne is the creator of compelling dark fiction thrillers like Edge of Ether, and mysteries including All Junkies Float and The Resemblance. She has been published by Gestalt Media and the Alternative Stories & Realities Podcast. She was a finalist in the 2021 ScreenCraft Cinematic Book Competition with her psychological thriller, All Junkies Float.

Her captivating writing style and ability to build tension were fortified through many years of teaching English and assisting ESL students with writing challenges. Her passion for developing complex characters recovering from personal trauma was deepened further by her bachelor’s degree in psychology that was received in 2016.

She is also a ghostwriter and editor with a passion for creating projects that challenge and push creative boundaries. She is also a screenwriter and filmmaker. In 2023, her short film and TV pilot placed in multiple competitions like the Final Draft - Big Break and Outstanding Screenplays. She is represented by ScreenMasters International as of November 2024.
